Let Music Fill the Air: Gala 10th Anniversary Concert

The culmination of this, our 10th anniversary season, will take place on Sunday, June 6, at 3:00 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Columbia, Maryland. At that time, we will present our gala 10th anniversary concert, Let Music Fill the Air. A highlight of this concert will be a suite for mixed choir and guitar newly commissioned by Voices 21, Night Sings to Morning, by University of Minnesota-based guitarist and composer Jeffrey Van. The suite is in three movements setting texts of William Blake: “To the Evening Star,” “Song,” and “To Morning.” Mr. Van will be the guitarist for this premiere performance.

The program will also include music by David Dickau, Gwyneth Walker, Stephen Chatman, Morten Lauridsen, and others.
